According to a Hindustan Times report, Sakinaka police revived a distress call saying there is a man who is trying to commit suicide from the top of a Sangharsh Nagar hill in Andheri East, Mumbai.
Sub-inspector Mhatre rushed to the spot with the 29-year-old constable Suhas Nevase. Nevase then climbed the hill barefoot and reached the man, where he negotiated with the man in distress.
“He negotiated with him for 30 minutes and convinced him and brought him down safely. Shri Nevase risked his life as to there was every chance of falling down from a height of 50 metres,”
