Till now, Vishal Bhardwaj has made films on Shakespeare’s stories, like Haider, Maqbool and Omkara. And we think the director has done every bit of justice with them. The Rangoon official trailer starts with a machine gun firing jet planes firing rounds of bullets on innocent people. The very first scenes establish that it is war time and the subtitles on the video say that it is 1944 and the Second World War as its peak. Then we get to see the Janbaaz Julia, Kangana Ranaut, whose character Julia is more like the Hunterwali from the 1940’s Bollywood. Julia meets a young soldier, Shahid Kapoor during her journey and falls in love and this erupts a fairly dramatic and deadly love triangle between the three major characters of the film, who would die for one another and would even kill to get their love.
