Academy Award winning (3 times, nominated 19 times) actress Meryl Streep completely nailed it, when she took the stage at the Golden Globe Awards and very publicly and unabashedly criticised Donald Trump in front of millions of people.

Donald Trump is not a person, who would just listen to allegations without barking. Today morning he took to the Twitter and fired at the great actress saying Meryl Streep is an “over-rated actress”.

In a six-minutes of vehement speech that Streep delivered the award show, she did not hold back her feelings and expressed it with fire.

‘That instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in a public platform, it filters down into everyone’s life because it gives permission for others to do the same,’ said Streep in front of a audience packed full of Hollywood A-listers.

‘Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to bully others we all lose.’
