Winter is a season of holidays. With Christmas, year end , new year this season seems to have an impression of fun and enjoyment.
But now since everything is said and done, if you are feeling sad that all the holidays are over, here are some offbeat holidays for you to celebrate and keep the party spirit alive.
- Januray 2: Happy Cats Day
This is nothing extraordinary but just another day to celebrate the companionship of our feline friends, who by the way are not very moved wth all the affections most of the times.
2. January 4: Dimpled Chad Day
Now what is dimpled chad? A dimpled chad is when someone attempts to punch a hole in a sheet of paper, but the cutout remains attached and leaves just a dent. And this is a day to celebrate this bizarre thing. Cool!
3. January 9: National Clean-off-your-desk Day
Come on fellas! It’s new year, a fresh starting for you and your desk. It’s time to be organised and here is the day to motivate you to clean up your mess, literally.
4. January 9: Nations Thank-god-it’s-Monday! Day
I don’t know who says that! Most of the time we remember Monday with the reference of Monday-morning-blues. But here is the day to celebrate the start of an active week. Try to get motivated to go to office may be!
5. January 10: Poetry at Work Day
Instead of your co-worker complaining in the conference room, it’s the day when he/she will motivate you to pen down all those fuzzy feelings during a meeting. Let’s just make the most of it!
6. January 11: Learn Your Name in Morse Code Day
Come on, even Google gives you a Morse Code Translator. Get it done on January 11.
7. January 12: National Hot Tea Day
Now this is a blessing for all the tea lovers. Celebrate this day with more of those hot cups. Enjoy!
8. January 13: Blame Someone Else Day
Have you done something wrong? It’s perfectly OK. Just put the blame on someone else and still have a clean conscience because today is the day to do so.
9. Januray 16: National Nothing Day
All those lazy people, do I even need to say anything? Don’t you already have tears in your eyes?
10. Januray 23: National Pie Day
No words! Just yum!
